COVID 19 VACCINE
Since the very early days of covid there has always been an uncertainty of wether or not the vaccine will ever actually exist and if it did how effective would it be.
Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and even WhatsApp was providing different theories not just about the vaccine but about Covid in general, how it's man made and is just a population monitoring scheme because continents all over the world are over populated.
There was even a point where information like this was coming from so called doctors and scientists from Chinas capital, with them adding that they were putting their lives and jobs on the line by speaking on the vaccine and the "truth" about it.
At first I was also one of the very strong believers that this vaccine that they are working on is nothing but a plan to finish us off for good, until, it actually existed and there was proof that people who were taking it were not dying or developing sicknesses
I proceeded to watch the news where it was explained how the humans anti bodies work where if your body is made familiar with a small amount of the virus then if you had to get infected by the virus your body already recognizes it and is well equipt to fight it off.
I know there are still some speculations out there about the vaccine, but those speculations could cost you your life or even someone else's, is it really worth it?
It is really not worth it because people's lives are more important than anything but also it is up to them to know what believe and do not believe beacuse at the end of the day it going to cost them their own lives. The ones spreading those myth might be protecting themselves behind close doors while misleading the public. People should learn to trust without even seeing that thing happen to you or anyone close to them. Very informative blog 👏
ReplyDeletePeople will somehow always believe the media because it gets them at the right time . Right when you are curious and really wanna know about something and boom you get information about that matter some people will obviously believe it because some are not well educated enough and they will receive what they are given which is just absurdity.
ReplyDeleteEven when the virus itself (Covid-19) was identified, some doctors and politicians claimed that it was created from a lab in Wuhan with the aim to depopulate the population and these type of news were spread rapidly over social media and it inflicted fear on the public and the theories kept spreading.
ReplyDeleteI think it is very simple to fall into the trap of believing these myths because there is no information readily available about these vaccines and how the affect the people who get it. I think it's very to important for people to be well informed.
ReplyDeleteBig ups .This is a very insightful blog .Thank you
ReplyDeleteThe myths about covid-19 vaccines make people not want to take the vaccination of which is something understandable because there's a little information about the vaccines side effects but that doesn't mean people should spread incorrect info
ReplyDeleteThis blog is really informative and the layout has been delivered in a way that brings understanding to me as the reader. The concept you spoke about is definitely what people should know about. I enjoyed reading your blog, good job 👍

ReplyDeleteThanks for the insight, this is really good
ReplyDeleteThe media has so much influence on what people think as how they act and it sure has played a huge role during this pandemic
ReplyDeleteWhen the pandemic started these conspiracy theories were confusing.Even differentiating fake news from factual information was also an issue. Thanks for an informative blog.
ReplyDeleteIt is worth it to endager your life by following false theories that do not have evidence, rather seek more knowledge on the vaccine
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely true. Various theories spread through social media platforms caused such fear and confusion and because we were and are still fighting an unknown monster, it became easier to believe or be lured by such conspiracies in those conditions. I was also a part of individuals that actually believed in such. Thank for the insightful blog
ReplyDeleteVery Informative blog there ,indeed speculations will totally costs people their lives at this stage because most people do not want to bother themselves finding out more about Covid 19 and all facts related to it and the vaccine too .In order for conspiracy theories around the vaccine to be cleared people need to find out more on the vaccine its self .Insightful informative blog with a very enlightening perspective.
ReplyDeleteI personally dont think I trust the vaccine. Firstly I just feel like the vaccine was made in such a hurry . I understand scientists and doctors were under so much pressure to come with a vaccine but I don’t think it was given time to test it thoroughly.... I believe our bodies are made in such a way that it can fight any viruses unless you have an underlying illness, then that’s a bit tricky ...but risking our lives isn’t worth it
ReplyDeleteAtleast now we know between false theory and the legit one, this is a very informative blog keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteIt is the imperative of the media to set the record straight and dispel any rumors or untruths.
